Samsung refrigerator filters

There are different types of water filters for Samsung refrigerators. We would like to briefly explain the difference between these filters:
Internal water filter
There are a number of different internal water filters. The most common water filter used in Samsung refrigerators is the HAFIN2/EXP. This type of water filter is found in about 85 percent of Samsung refrigerators. The filter can be recognized by the shape that resembles a thick glue pot. The HAFIN1/EXP type is used in 5 percent of refrigerators. Both filters are very similar, but the difference is in the rotary lock. The images below explain the differences.

External water filter
There is also an external water filter HAFEX/EXP. This type of filter is mounted outside of the refrigerator between 2 water hoses.
